Launching Fuel the Future
IABC Greater Cincinnati Launches Mentoring Initiative
At the June 2022 IABC World Conference, keynote speaker Frank Shaw, Corporate VP of Communications at Microsoft, asked the question, “What do we [communicators] do?” His answer: speak out, convene and negotiate.
The next generation of professional communicators is ever-present. It’s up to us to welcome them with this and other practical, real-world knowledge while at the same time listening and learning, too. This reciprocal growth is one of the greatest parts of mentorship, and that’s why IABC Greater Cincinnati is launching the Fuel the Future Mentor Program initiative.
Do you know a college student studying to enter the communication field or an adjacent profession* who is seeking a mentor?
