Local chapter member presenting at World Conference

Sara Jackson presenting “Demonstrating ROI to move your communication forward”

saraCongratulations to local IABC member Sara Jackson, who is taking her presentation “Demonstrating ROI to move your communication forward” to Vancouver in June. Sara, Executive Director of Internal Comms Pro, will share with participants of the IABC World Conference how they can strategically reveal industry metrics and compare them to data dashboards to evolve from tactical taskmaster to the can’t-live-without-strategist.

“Over the course of hundreds of conversations with communications professionals, I have noticed that they all struggle with finding the right way to convey the value of their work to their audience and to their leadership,” Sara says. “With so many of us becoming a one-woman or one-man department, it is difficult to not drown in the day-to-day tasks that prevent us from truly leveraging the power of communication.”

Sara’s session is one of nearly 50 offerings at the 2019 World Conference, which will be June 9 – 12 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Registration is now open for the conference.
